Keukenhof - post 1

Good Friday - April 22, 2011 - we drove to The Netherlands to enjoy the flowers and tulips in Keukenhof. It was a beautiful day - and the flowers were at their peak. Pictures barely do them justice - it was gorgeous everywhere you looked. And the smell, as soon as we opened our windows we enjoyed this amazing sent. I can't begin to describe it, nor will you be able to enjoy it via the blog - but take my word for it - it was wonderful! The pictures on this post below were all taken by Shane (except for the one with him in it) when he had our old camera. I can only imagine the number of photographs taken in Keukenhof each year - and now with digital cameras - the photos are endless - here are just a few of the ones he took.
