This is the Powder Tower - isn't it beautiful.
Then on to the Old Town Square.
While we were in the square we saw crowds of people over in one particular section, we then realized that they were all waiting for the glockenspiel...so we joined right in (can you spot Jer and the kids in the crowd?)
We took a little break at a restaurant on the square. The kids ordered some icecream while Jer and I both had soup. You got to love outdoor seating in the fall with the heaters to keep you warm. Most places also have blankets for you too.
While we were eating it went from late afternoon to evening....
What a change in scenery - we decided to walk around a bit more at night before heading back to our hotel.
We walked down to the famous Charles Bridge and looked up at Prague Castle (we plan to head there tomorrow). It was beautiful at night. Our camera doesn't take the best night photos -but these still are pretty.
We then headed back towards our hotel. The kids were getting hungry again and it wasn't really that late (even though it had been dark for awhile already - got to love that time change) so we stopped by a little Pizzeria near our hotel. We were seated at a table which was sort of off on its own...actually it was perfect for our large family! The kids even got colors and coloring pages and the food was good too.
We are off to a great start in Prague...stay tuned for more.
