Paris!

So finally - here it is- the post on PARIS!!!! We went to Paris with my sister back on Saturday, November 13th. We took the train there and back in one day - yes we are crazy!

First stop - the Eiffel Tower! We had to walk from our Metro stop to the Eiffel Tower along the Seine River. Shaylee is listening to the song "Our Last Summer" from the Mama Mia soundtrack...."walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain...." fits perfectly with today!

Silas has a Dora video where they go to the Eiffel tower - and once he saw it he kept saying "the Eiffel Tower, the Eiffel Tower". So sweet to see him soo excited!

It was a very windy day in Paris. Jer was having just a little trouble with one of our umbrellas.
We saw more umbrellas in the trash bins around Paris. This one was toast -and ended up in the bin too.

This last photo was at the end of the day when we were ready to head back to the train station...I'm really quite surprised how well the picture turned out - because the kids were "done" with Paris. I've got a big "let's all be happy now" smile on my face...it was time to go home.
