Marv and Joyce decided to take the train back to Reuti - and we decided we would take one more hike before heading to the hotel. We headed up the path to the Staubbach Waterfall. This waterfall practically pours down right on the little town of Lauterbrunnen. You can see it in the background of the picture of us taken with the church.
It was quite the hike up the hill...but a great view of Lauterbrunnen down below.
The kids at the base of the waterall. Then you have to go through a tunnel and up some stairs to get to the viewing platform that is behind the waterfall. The kids thought this was pretty neat!
Behind the waterfall....wet, wet, wet....like it was raining on us. But really neat, especially for Shaylee and Sydney, as they didn't come with us to Trummelbach Falls. They thought being behind the waterfall was cool!
The hike down was fun too. Silas pretty much slid down the hillside! At the bottom we let the kids play by a little drinking water foundtain/pool. The water was REALLY cold. Silas had fun and got SOAKED. Time to head to the hotel!
