Hotel Silberhorn

We stayed at a lovely hotel, called the Silberhorn, in Lauterbrunnen. We had a little chalet practically to ourselves....not sure if they put us out there to keep our family with 4 kids away from the other guests or not!?! The kids especially like the hotel. They liked playing on their beds and running around on the balcony. One of the cable car lift stations was right next door. Silas got excited EVERY time the cable car came down or went back up! He made sure we all knew it was coming and going.

Sunday morning when we woke up the sky was CLEAR - and we had a lovely view of the mountains!!! The kids were very excited and ran out on the balcony to see.

Here we are eating breakfast at the hotel...again we were off in a separate little room all by ourselves...it worked well for us - but I'm not sure if it was because the main dinning room didn't have tables big enough for 6, or if they wanted us away from everyone else! There was another table right next to us set for 5, but those guests hadn't come down for breakfast yet, so not sure if they were a family with kids or not. We enjoyed our stay, and I thought our kids were pretty well behaved. Now off up into the MOUNTAINS we go!
