Murren

We stopped in Murren- 5374 feet. We had a lovely, lovely time here! We walked along the quaint streets and took in the feel of being up in a little village in the Swiss Alps!
Shane was trying to get a drink from one of the trinkwasser fountains. I love this picture of Syd - the Swiss flag was blowing just right - we know she was in Switzerland!

Shane, Syd, and Shaylee - with mommy. Silas had fallen asleep in the backpack.

It was such a lovely day that we stopped for some refreshments at a little restaurant. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine! We decided not to order any food though...since one of the specials of the day was HORSE! Sirloin steak from a horse just doesn't sound all that appealing!
We really enjoyed Murren - Jer hopes to come back here in the winter and take the family skiing! There is a little place called Allmendhubel which is a short funicular train ride from Murren. It is suppose to be the perfect family friendly ski area....we shall see...
