This week Thursday (April 2nd) I watched one of Shaylee's friends, Daniel, after Kindergarten. It was a gorgeous day - so they were playing in the backyard. This easel has been in our basement for some time not getting played with. So since they wanted to play with sidewalk chalk, but we have no sidewalk/cement in our backyard I decided to pull the easel out and let them draw on it outside. Before long they were no longer using the easel to draw on....instead it was being used as a house, jail, car, racetrack, and who knows what else for these little kids' wild imaginations! Silas had such a great time playing with the kids too. I'm glad they had so much fun with it- and I plan to keep it outside now.
