Friday, April 10, 2009 - we got up early (2am) and headed to Italy. We wanted an early start to beat all the Easter weekend traffic! We did...no traffic troubles at all for us. We drove through Germany and Austria and were into Italy all before 6:30am! WOW! The moon was out as we drove through the Alps - and it was neat to see them silhouetted against the moonlight. Too bad my camera couldn't capture that! We stopped for gas and a bathroom break in Innsbruck, Austria - here is a picture of the city, as the sun was coming up.
