The kids have been having a great time with "auntie" Joni...and I am too. This afternoon she was teaching Sydney and Shaylee how to walk with stuff on their heads just like the people in Africa do. She would wrap up a towel to give them a base - and then place the book (or other object) on their heads and have them try to walk....it was fun....I tried it too. We've got a long ways to go before we will be able to carry jugs of water or baskets of food on our heads!
Silas and Joni have become great buds. Seeing Joni with Silas reminds me of when Shane was this age hanging out with Joni! Was it really 7 years ago! WOW!
We also took Joni to the kids' favorite park. Joni took a ride on the zip-line swing....what fun!
We are really enjoying our time with Joni.....we wish she could stay longer....but know her family misses her and is eager to see her soon too.
