Shaylee along the waters edge - the boat houses in the background
on the boat - about 1/2 way into the ride the captain stops the boat and his 1st mate pulls out a trumpet and demonstrates the clarity of the echo. It was amazing to hear how clear the echo was at this particular point in the journey - with cliffs on either side of us - it was beautiful! We could have listened to him play all day...but I don't think he had enough air to do so! The kids (and all other adults aboard) really enjoyed this part of the boat tour.
Another boat - like the one we are on...and the beautiful scenery surrounding us!
Our boat tour took us to the Church of St. Bartholomew - here we got off and could stay for awhile and catch another boat back. There were park benches along the water - so we sat and enjoyed the view - and the kids of course enjoyed throwing rocks into the lake.
There was also a park - so the kids enjoyed playing there for a bit. The sun was actually peeking through the clouds so we also decided to enjoy the sunshine and eat and early supper. Nothing beats sitting outside in the warm sun, surrounded by glorious mountains, and eating Weisswurst and Bretzels - we must be in Bavaria!
