Sandcastles and Other Creations

One of the best things about spending time at the lake for the kids is playing in the sand. They can spend hours building and creating castles, tunnels, forts, farms, roadways, volcanoes, rivers, and who knows what else.

I'm not even sure what the kids have created - but they sure had fun making them.
Shaylee and Uncle Kyle built one together, adding tree branches and sticks for decoration.
Kyle was pretty serious about his part of the castle/fort.
Shane, Sydney, Shaylee, and cousin Sawyer built a HUGE castle complex. It was amazing...and they played with it for days!

I tried to get a few pictures of it from different angles. They were very proud and didn't want to destroy it - I'm sure we will find some remains (rocks especially) next summer when we return!
