If you ask the kids - what was your favorite part of our weekend - their answer is THE HOTEL! Since it was Shane's birthday on Sunday - we decided to book a hotel with a swimming pool. The kids had a great time swimming and splashing around with grandma. And the hot tub wasn't too bad either! A great way to relax after a long day in the car!

Silas ordering room service....a lady did bring up extra towels and soap....so not sure if he got through or what?? After a long day - Mc Donald's is sometimes the best meal for a bunch of tired and hungry kids!
Silas was especially glad to get to the hotel. He seemed to LOVE running from room to room (we had 2 adjoining rooms) and just being FREE. He fell right to sleep as well - and did great sleeping in a big bed with Shane!

We (especially Remco) enjoyed the pictures of The Netherlands on your blog. I did not even consider that any of your family could be from there - a closer look at your name could have helped.
