Texas Embassy Cantina

While in London we had the enjoyment of dining at the Texas Embassy Cantina - not only once, but twice - since we enjoyed it SOOO much the first time! We had been told about this place by some friends of ours who had visited London a year or so ago...they loved it too. I'm not sure it was because the Tex-Mex food was the best we'd ever had...or because it had just been sooo long since we'd actually had it! The atmosphere of the restaurant was friendly - and it was a hit with the kids too! Who wouldn't love free chips and salsa!

First off the kids ordered DR. PEPPER! They were all excited and Jer even took a photo with his phone and sent it off to Grandpa B! They kids all said that "grandpa would like this place" -they remember all the times grandpa visited our local Shell station (when he visited us last May) to purchase a small bottle of Dr. Pepper for close to 2 Euro - since it was the only place you could find Dr. Pepper - and we were surprised to even find it there.
Secondly Mommy and Daddy ordered Margaritas! You can't find those in Germany either!
Shelby checking out the menu....
These license plates were hanging on the wall next to our table - The middle one is for Ms. Fay - the kids couldn't stop talking about TEXAS and Ms. Fay while we were here!
So if you are ever in London - and you want a small taste of Texas - head to the Texas Embassy Cantina its not far from Trafalgar Square!
Just a side note that we did have "Fish n Chips" while in London as well - but for some reason I didn't get a photo of that :( So that's all from London - now to see if I can get the rest of what we've been up to in March updated on the blog!
